Project: SnowBound© is a Solo-Developed F2P H-MMO (Free-To-Play Hybrid-Massively Multiplayer Online Game) set on a distant planet in a far sci-fi future. You play as an up & coming amateur who will get the opportunity to participate in events on the "Heavens Peak" boarding circuit at the start of the season.

"High Heaven Inc." is a mega-corp who has settled and industrialized a new dwarf-planet called Kore-I (pronounced like core-one). On this planet, there are amazing sights and tracks to shred. 

Between the mountains highest peak, lays the primary outpost for High Heaven's various visitors. Its appearance brags luxury & comfort for those who decided to stay-inn during their visit.

However the frontier has yet to have been explored outside of HH's & the Galatic Governments control. All guests to the system, have been warned not to stray too far into unexplored regions of the planet. Even after being warned, some have already begun to stray into the Tundras of Kore-I, hoping to find treasures or make a living for themselves on the frontier.

This game has/is currently being Solo-Developed by myself. I am using Unity3D as the engine of choice for this project. Yes, in recent times they have had a bit of drama with us developers, however this kickstarter was created the week after Unity made changes to the runtime-fee. Also yes, I do plan on continuing with Unity, until I can no longer see a visible path in a future working with them, or until the projects completion into release.

This will be strictly on Windows for the duration of the Alpha phase of development. Then, I will be planning on adding support for Linux, Mac (if feedback is given), and console support for Xbox or Playstation (of the newest generation), depending on the availability/tech later down the line.

While I have worked meticulously in the background for the past year & 3 months to get to this point; I plan on having a Early-Access Steam launch soon after Valve's review (Q4 2023), the Alpha Version(v 0.0.2a) is LIVE right now, and I do need feedback to improve the base game before anything else is added. I expect to be at least mid-stages of Beta or close to release by the end of next year (Q4 2024).
